About Us
Dr. Judy Gandara received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of California, San Diego. She then continued her education to receive a Doctorate of Optometry from University of California, Berconfidence to work with you. She loves serving the community as an optometrist in San Antonio!

We will provide a thorough check of the ocular health of the eye as well as provide any glasses prescription.
Contact lens Exam
A comprehensive eye exam will be performed along with an assessment of the best fitted contact lenses.
Medical Eye Exam
We are also able to see patients who have red eyes, significant changes in vision, flashes of light or a foreign body in the eye.
Specialty Testing
At Bluebonnet Optometry we have a state of the art technology that will allows us to capture an image of the inside of the eye, scan the tissue of the eye and also map the surface of the eye.
We had a great experience. Eye doctor was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and kind. She took the time to explain everything to my son (11 years) in terms he would understand. I’m so glad we found her. The receptionist up front was great, too! Very kind as well. She answered all of my million questions and was very helpful. She even recommended an optical for us and that was great as well.
